Lake District National Park Landscape

I must find out what this mountain is called, it is obviously one of the bigger ones in the National Park but I can’t seem to work out which one exactly. The photograph was captured in early November of last year somewhere on the road between Coniston Water and Eskdale. It is a very typical Lake District landscape, and I would have preferred the little remote cottage to have been a lot closer to my lens, but we can’t have everything. At least the sun was in the right place and the sky was very dramatic. You can see why people are drawn here, with the rolling mountains and valleys. Hopefully tomorrow I will be returning from this part of the world with some photographs to share…fingers crossed!
