Found outside the main entrance of the Auckland War Memorial Museum in the Domain these street lamps probably date back to 1929 when the museum was built. They remind me of some of the traditional (perhaps a little old fashioned) looking lamps that you may see walking around London or Edinburgh. It is one of many examples of the colonial influences I have seen here in Auckland.
