I saw this church last summer and thought it could make a good photograph for the website. With the nice blue sky and even lighting it has made it, but I am not happy with it. Saint Michael’s is a strange building because the tower appears to lean a lot, but in fact it just gets thinner as it gets taller. Architectural photographs are always wary of having images with converging verticals, where the perspective of the building gives this effect. Here my lens has done a great job, but the building appears to be designed to converge at the top of the tower.
