This is the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct just south of Wrexham in North Wales. I wanted to make the most of the weekend, so went for a drive. I had been here three years ago with my grandparents but never got the chance to photograph it from a distance. Below you can see the original image I took back in 2007 which shows the water, however my newer image above gives a much better impression of the scale of this construction that was completed in 1805.
