After another full day prepping University work I walked into the city centre to meet up with a friend. The sun was just setting as I was about to leave, so I grabbed my camera and tripod and headed out. We ended up underneath the Manchester Wheel. My favourite part of the above photograph is the reflections on the glass of the Selfridges store. It was very difficult to capture the full circle of the wheel and we were both disappointed to see some of the lights on the Wheel not fully lit up. I also made a conscious effort to keep the Arndale sign in the background between two spokes of the wheel. The round, white circle at the bottom right part of the wheel is the moon, which was full and looked much better than last night, although I didn’t manage to get a photograph of it tonight.
