Manchester Central Convention Complex was formerly known as the GMEX centre. Originally it was Manchester Central railway station but has been an exhibition centre for the past 25 years. Pictured above is the main entrance, renovated recently to include this modern looking covered part of the walkway in front of the main doors. Somehow in my opinion this doesn’t quite fit with the rest of the building’s architecture.
