Salt’s Mill at Saltaire

Looking through some of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites in the UK that I hadn’t visited (just over half) I decided that driving up from Manchester to Northumberland would give me a chance to at least have a quick look at two. Even if the weather wasn’t great I could always plan out a shoot for a later date. Saltaire is a Victorian model village within the City of Bradford in West Yorkshire. Shown above is a close-up of the side of Salt’s Mill, which closed back in February 1986 and after much renovation today it houses a mix of business, commerce, leisure and residential use.
