Also known as Pier Road, this twisting steep road comes up from the Bandstand to the West Cliff of Whitby. This was where I was stood with my camera and tripod to get half a dozen night / dusk photographs of the town and its famous attractions. It has a great view from here night or day. As I was stood here for nearly an hour, I began to notice the same two or three cars (playing loud music, full of teenagers, you know the type) that kept driving up this road. They must have been going around in circles. So I decided it would be worth trying to capture their car lights on a long exposure and the above photograph was the result.
