Kagyu Samye Ling is the first Tibetan Buddhist Centre in the West. It is a little difficult to find on the banks of the river Esk in Scotland. Although this photograph was captured a few years ago, I am getting more interested in recording the colours, shapes and works of art surrounding the Buddhist culture. The above photograph shows the hand painted doorway (well the detail above the doorway). Inside it was one of the most peaceful rooms I had ever been into.
