Driving through Cheshire, I came across a hedgerow with hundreds of icicles. It was very striking, so much so I had to pull the car over and walk back with my camera for a photograph. All around the snow and ice had melted, but this area was clearly in the shade the whole day during the winter months. You can see how the ice and snow have formed around the branches of the hedge and then started to slowly melt, creating this unique pattern.
