Whitby harbour is home to a large number of commercial, fishing and pleasure craft. Here we see a pleasure yacht sailing out of the harbour into the North Sea. I captured the above photograph from the east wall which was having some maintenance work on it this summer. Behind the yacht is the west wall, which I didn’t get chance to walk down to the end on as I got distracted by the beach!
