Salford Quays is one of my local favourite areas to take my camera and one I have been to dozens of times. Every time I go I think it would be great at a sunrise or sunset. This past weekend I was able to get down there with the camera at sunset and it proved ten times more difficult to capture what I wanted than I had initially thought. It would be an HDR (high dynamic range) photographer’s dream. In fact I took my tripod in an attempt to try my hand at a couple of HDR multiple exposures. I love the water and reflections in the above capture.
