Train approaching Manchester Oxford Road Station

Looking down the B6469, more commonly known as Whitworth Street West in Manchester’s city centre, we can see the 12:22 train coming into Oxford Road Station. I was actually stood at the junction with Oxford Road to take the photograph, using a long zoom lens to focus on the bridge. It was just fortunate that a train was coming in at the right time. Because of the long zoom lens the two buildings behind the train (old and new) look very close to each other, when in realty they are a good few hundred metres apart.
