Dusk is one of my favourite times of the day and here I wanted to capture the lights from the Echo Wheel (formerly known as the Liverpool One Wheel before it was moved to its new location). I thought that the wall of the Anchor Courtyard and the two trees created a nice lead in towards the focal point of the image. The camera was on a tripod to try to capture all the levels of light to put together an HDR image, but unfortunately the wind was blowing the trees and the wheel was moving when the exposures were captured, so I couldn’t quite create the final effect I was hoping to achieve.
