Having had Sumner beach and parade recommended as a great place to visit from Christchurch I was really glad we came here. After a wonderful brunch at Bonobo Cafe (which has since changed its name to Not typical cafe and restaurant. I went for a walk along Sumner Parade to Tuawera – Cave Rock. This is a part of the coast I’d like to spend more time in, especially at dawn or dusk. After walking around Tuawera – Cave Rock, I headed back to the car and this was the view looking south across Scarborough Beach.
