Motorsports is something I don’t get to photograph enough. Like any fast action sport, it is difficult to capture good photographs of the action. Having now been to the Wellington Family Speedway half a dozen times, I’m getting to know the best places to stand. This is the fourth and final corner coming into the home straight. The evening events usually have half a dozen different classes of cars racing. Sometimes there’s even a demolition derby at the end of the night. These four are the Saloon class of cars. Whilst they aren’t the fastest, they still drift around the corners at high speeds.
