This bright eyed young dog is called Trevor. I met him whilst wondering around the old Chinese Settlement in Arrowtown, New Zealand. He is an Australian Cattle Dog breed of herding dog, originally from Australia. I hadn’t seen a dog with such a bright coat of this colour before. He lived in one of the old houses that had been converted into something of a shop / museum where tourists could learn how to pan for gold. Trevor seemed very happy showing off his large stick to anyone who would pay him attention.
