Port Mulgrave Bay

The north east coast of Britain is a landscape photographers hidden gem. Even though it might not be as popular as the more famous national parks but this adds to the areas charm. The above photograph was taken whilst out with my friends. We had just walked back up from the beach where we had been looking around for fossils (which we found a couple of tiny ones). After a hard climb back up the hill through very thick winter mud we were rewarded with this landscape. The red in the sky is from the winter sunset.
