Recently I had some interest in the above photo which was first published on this site back in July 2006. Back then I wasn’t using Adobe Lightroom to organise and catalogue my photographs, so the original image can be seen below. After a new client purchased the stock photo I went about re-editing the original jpeg taken on my old Canon compact camera. I was able to recover a great amount of detail in the shadow details. Amazing what even the most basic of old cameras can record.
