On one of the buildings just to the right of St. Peter’s Basilica I noticed this mosaic. It is one of the most modern changes to the square made by Pope John Paul II in 1981. The mosaic shows a picture of Our Lady “Mother of the Church”. The way that the spotlight was highlighting it made me want to capture it. I would guess that in the daytime I might have missed seeing this altogether.
