I remember visiting the Iron Bridge with my father and uncle as a child, so it was nice to go back to get a photograph. It crosses the River Severn just by the village of Ironbridge in Shropshire, England. It is the first arch bridge in the world to be made out of cast iron and was built between 1775 and 1779. Although it is smaller than you expect, being only 30.5 metres long, the fact that it is over 230 years old is extremely impressive.
