Before visiting the twin cities of Hastings and Napier I hadn’t experienced much in the way of Art Deco. Particularly not much architecture in this style. Certainly it is something rarely found back home in the UK. Driving up from Wellington to Napier it made sense for a quick stop and a walk around Hastings. Although spending only an hour or so there some of the buildings we very interesting. My favourite is definitely the Hastings Cinema.
