The Grossmunster and its twin towers are regarded as one of the most recognisable landmarks on the Zurich skyline. This Romanesque-style church dates back to around 1220 AD. Looking closely at the above image I can see that there are people near to the top of these towers. As one of the tallest structures in the centre of the city, I clearly missed the opportunity to get an aerial view of Zurich. Don’t worry, it has been added to the list for next time I’m in Switzerland!
