Greylag Goose

As you can see by the shadow, the light was in the perfect place as I stalked this huge Greylag Goose across the field. I had the above shot in mind when I saw the bird walking around and I have seen a lot of photos of birds with this very blurred background. My lens isn’t really long and doesn’t have a really large aperture, so the background isn’t quite as blurred as I would have liked, however the bird’s head is pin sharp, so that is the main thing.
