Photographing trains in the station is particularly difficult, especially in a tourist hot spot like Grosmont Station in the North Yorkshire Moors in the middle of summer. The main thing that can spoil a picture like this is the crowds of tourists and so it was my main focus to attempt to capture this scene without the crowds. I was lucky to be able hide the majority of the tourists behind the locomotive but keep the Grosmont sign in the frame. Including one person in my opinion finishes the photograph off as it adds a sense of scale without distracting from the focal point.
