After a couple of failed attempts to walk around the Chester racecourse and along the River Dee last weekend, I decided to make the most of the blue sky and go for a walk. This was taken looking towards the main stands of the course which, according to official records, is the oldest racecourse still in use in England. Behind the stands you can see across to Chester city centre.
