Remember, remember the Fifth of November, Gunpowder Treason and Plot…I held off posting this afternoon because I couldn’t decide if I wanted to go to a firework display or stay in and watch the fireworks from my flat. Last year I was away in the Lake District and so had planned to go to a display. This evening I decided to stay in and watch fireworks over the city centre from my window. It wasn’t nearly as impressive as a professional display but interesting none the less. The above photograph was taken back in September at Blackpool’s International Firework Competition. I have published photographs from this event before, but this is my favourite. To capture such an image I basically followed my quick tip in yesterday’s post.
