Arrowtown is a historic gold mining town a short drive from Queenstown in New Zealand’s South Island. Many of the original shop buildings date back to the mid 19th century. One of the best examples of the architecture is the old general store built in 1862. As you can see, today it is the local Pharmacy. Being so popular with tourists it is a difficult town to photograph without getting crowds of people and parked cars in the image.
