Taking only photographs – leaving only footprints
We got on the ferry back to Holyhead about an hour early. Due to the time of day I took a little walk up on the top deck. It was cold and I was very tired having travelled across Ireland but the sunset was spectacular, the location might not have been the best, Dublin Port isn’t the most picturesque part of Dublin by a long way but the sunset was something quite magical and a fitting way to end my trip to Ireland.
Tonight we were driving past Jodrell Bank Observatory near Goostrey in Cheshire. The colours in the sky were wonderful and constantly changing through the sun set. I decided to stop and get some photos of the two telescopes with the sun going down in the background.
This afternoon, just before the sun went down the sky lit up with some fantastic colours for about half an hour. I was on my way home at the time and going past Manchester Airport. I stopped and took this photograph.
