The Avenues Mural at Atlantis

The Avenues Mural at Atlantis

The Palm Jumeirah gave me a great view of Atlantis The Palm. However if you’re not staying at this luxury hotel resort, the other option is to go to the water park. I didn’t have any intention of doing either of these, so decided to explore what I could of the resort. The Avenues is a small shopping mall of luxury boutiques and expensive looking restaurants. The photograph above shows a mural on one of the ceilings. To be honest it was a bit like how I imagine Disney Land to be. Still I thought the mural was definitely worth recording.

Graff Test Dummy Graffiti

Graff Test Dummy Graffiti

This is the last of my collection of this years graffiti photographed on Manchester’s New Wakefield Street. It was painted by SatOne and Dems with a limited pallet of orange and blues with cars flying everywhere. I would one day like to watch such a large piece of work being created from start to finish as I imagine it must take many hours if not days to create a piece as large as the one photographed above.

American Graffiti Shop Afflecks

American Graffiti Shop Afflecks

Found in Steveson Square in the Northern Quarter of Manchester this street art is painted on the shutters of a shop / stall called American Graffiti which is part of Afflecks (formerly Affleck’s Palace), an indoor market with dozens of independent stalls, small shops and boutiques like the one pictured above. Afflecks is a great place for young fashionable alternative clothing and accessories.
