Travelling onwards to the East coast of Scotland we came across the historic picturesque town of Dunbar. It had a very interest harbour with hundreds of seagulls and dozens of boats of various types. I really enjoyed the interesting photographs from around the bay, climbing on rocks and sunbathing by the sea. The photograph below shows a couple of the fishing boats inside the harbour walls.
Tantallon Castle – Scotland
We decided to go by car towards North Berwick to the East. This was also very busy due to the beautiful weather at the moment. We ended up stopping at Tantallon Castle. I decided it wasn”t worth paying the entrance fee to look around, especially due to the fact there was a lot of scaffolding covering the front of the castle. I managed to get a sneaky few photos over the hedge.
Shops on Princes Street Edinburgh
After such a long day of travelling yesterday we didn’t leave the hotel till quite late. By the time we had walked into the city centre the Bus Tours were extremely busy and had long queues for tickets. We decided that another day would be better, when we came out earlier. I did however get some interesting photographs of the wonderful architecture on Princes Street.
Edinburgh Castle at Dusk
We finally managed to get to our hotel in Edinburgh at around half five. We showered and relaxed before heading back into the city for our evening meal. The Mussel Inn is one of the best sea food restaurants in Edinburgh and was up to its usually high standards. I then went for a little walk up and down Princes Street to get some photos of the castle.
