Taking only photographs – leaving only footprints
Today I started my two weeks of work experience at Granada TV in Manchester. I will be working in the Art Department with the art director, production designer and their team. Started work at 9am and I didn’t leave until after 6pm. Evidently I left early, obviously I have a lot to learn – I am going to be extremely busy.
Today I took all my graphics projects into college to getting them sorting into a professional looking portfolio for my university interviews. It was a long day of sorting and moving heavy folders around. This evening I was walking down to play pool with a friend I noticed that the sun was going down and the sky was perfectly clear. Please to see some nice red plane trails in the sky I thought I would take a couple of quick snaps. Thought I would share this photo…enjoy!
So I was walking past the Town Hall in Manchester tonight on my way to the AMC cinema. I liked the previous night photo of Manchester so much I thought I would take another. This time I rested the camera on a letter box to keep it steady. Not as good as the Piccadilly Gardens photo but I still think it is worth sharing.
This afternoon, just before the sun went down the sky lit up with some fantastic colours for about half an hour. I was on my way home at the time and going past Manchester Airport. I stopped and took this photograph.
