In the past, if somebody had mentioned Yorkshire, I would have thought of York, or Leeds and Bradford, but now I think of photographs like the above. Yorkshire is the biggest county in Britain and as such is mostly rolling hills and dales, hence the Yorkshire Dales National Park. This image was captured one morning, traveling up towards and then through Swaledale about nine months ago. The way the clouds let the sun light shine through in unique ways creating interesting patterns on the ground is what made me share this photograph with you. The saturated but natural colours also make me very happy to be able to bring this too you.
