York Train Station might not be the first place you think of for great photography, but I took this picture whilst working on a commission from a glazing company (something that is still on going). Friends and family were pleased to see the job come through for me, but questioned why it took so long to get the photos. “Surely you can just Photoshop in a blue sky through the glass?”. Well no, because glass is ultimately reflective, but at the same time opaque, so getting it to look realistic would take hours and hours per photograph. This is not “Photoshopped” in apart from resizing for the web and you can see how natural the glass roofing looks.
