Having been to York once or twice before, but never having seen (let alone photographed) York Minster was a little embarrassing to be honest. Although I had no big plans or research on all the photos I wanted to try to capture I knew that I wanted to capture this famous Gothic cathedral. I didn’t go inside, as I didn’t have the time ,but I am very happy with the above photograph. The morning sun was in the perfect place. This image was captured with a wide angle 10mm lens.
