I have visited a number of walled cities, York and Chester spring to mind. After my experiences trying to photograph Chester’s Walls I am very pleased with the above photograph. This was captured just by the river and shows a nice long stretch of the wall. My dad took one glance at this and said that for a second it reminded him of the Great Wall of China.
