The Trafford Centre has dozens of these statues of various animals dotted about inside the shopping mall and outside near the entrances. At first I thought they looked a bit false and cheap, showing off a bit too much maybe. Over the years I got used to seeing them and now find them worthy of photographs. This obviously is the top half of the lion statue, which stands probably 6-8 feet tall near the main entrance to the Orient food court.
