Whitby Beach

Looking in the opposite direction to the brightly painted beach huts from Whitby Pavilion is this view. In the background you can see the lighthouse on the harbour walls. Being the middle of June when this photograph was captured the beach was full of tourists which in this case I think it adds to the feel of the photograph. It is a shame about the crane on the wall in the background but there was nothing that I could do about that. It just gives me a good excuse to return to this wonderful sea side town in the future.
