Just around the corner from St. Mark’s Square was this row of stalls selling Venetian themed goods to the tourists. The majority of the stalls have the Venetian Masks that are typically worn during the Carnevale (Carnival of Venice). It was nearly six years ago that I was last in Venice and I hope to return as soon as I can. Today I would have probably spent an hour or two photographing the details of some of the masks and other items for sale, just as I did in the markets of Rome at the beginning of this year.
