We drove for miles down a single track road to find a beautiful loch in the middle of nowhere, but it was worth it in my eyes for the photograph above. On the way back the blue skies shone through the clouds and lit up this wonderful vista. I have very little idea where exactly this was other than in the Highlands of Scotland. I’m sure my Great Aunt Ann or Great Uncle Michael who were with me at the time could fill us in on some of the details in the comments below, but I had to share this image with you because of the way that the light worked so well in my favour.
