The resort town of Queenstown lies on the edge of Lake Wakatipu. As one of New Zealand’s longest and most scenic, there is a high demand from tourists to get out on the water. In this photograph I was able to capture two of the wide variety of ways people explore the lake. On the left is Million Dollar One which offers cruises, on board lunches and afternoon teas at a leisurely pace. Over taking her to the right is the Thunder Jet boat. With two 750 horse power engines, this is more for the trilling seeking tourists.
