Trevi Fountain Rome

As you could expect, after the Colosseum Rome’s Trevi Fountain was next on the list of must photograph sites in the city. The above was taken just around sunset in early January. I had to do my professional photographer act (headphones in, heavy tripod fully extended to six foot, camera on the top, ignore all tourists) whilst I barged my way through the crowds right to the front. Then quickly frame the above image on the 10mm lens before the spray from the fountain completely covered the lens and camera and then make a quick escape. It really is the only way to get a picture like this and those who have been will understand exactly what I am talking about!
