Every time I drive past this building it upsets me. The Trafford Park Hotel is an amazing building from an architectural point of view. However, it is derelict. The problem is the location, in the middle of the massive industrial area that is Trafford Park. Maybe when it was built there was a demand for a hotel from the businessmen, but today there is not. It could make an amazing apartment building or office building, right between the Trafford Centre, Salford Quays and Old Trafford. It would be sad to see such a building fall into even further disrepair.
