After a long weekend of sorting through junk and effectively spring cleaning I wanted to get out there and get some photos taken. It has been raining steadily all weekend but as afternoon turned to evening the sun came out so I grabbed my camera and borrowed my dad’s digital SLR and jumped on my bike down to Manchester Airport for a bit of plane stopping photography. The light was falling fast and although I snapped over 300 images very few were decent, despite using my newly found tripod and monopod. I found a better area for plane viewing this visit but I will have to go back one morning early when there is better light to get more interesting results.
