The God of Anubis Statue

The God of Anubis Statue was photographed inside the Egyptian area of the Vatican Museums. With literally thousands of statues to photograph I had to be picky and choose ones that stood out. The background here really helped and made me want to capture a great image of this iconic Egyptian god. Although I originally wrote Anubis in my shoot notes, after a little research online I see that this statue is in fact Hermanubis, a god who combined Hermes and Anubis.
