Temple Roofing Art Figures

Surprises are great. Especially when out taking photographs. Originally, I visited the Thean Hou Temple for the view of Kuala Lumpur. Research online told me that from here, there was a great view of the skyline. The day I went was dull and foggy but this didn’t put me off.

The surprise was the temple itself. The architectural details coupled with the bright colours were really something special. Here we see a few of the figures along the ridge of the roof. The tower in the distance is KL Tower, which looks quite similar to Auckland’s Skytower. On the far right are the iconic Petronas Twin Towers.
