I spent the morning on a walk taking detailed photographs of water falls of various sizes. Afterward we decided to meet up with my cousin John in the sea-side town of Whiteheaven. The weather was not as good as yesterday but I found this interesting structure on the waterfront at Whiteheaven’s massive harbour. From a distance it looked like an wave shaped shelter for the walkway but on closer inspection it appears to have lights on the opposite side to the view in the photograph. It must make a very eye-catching sculpture at night.
Boats at Dunbar Harbour, Scotland
Travelling onwards to the East coast of Scotland we came across the historic picturesque town of Dunbar. It had a very interest harbour with hundreds of seagulls and dozens of boats of various types. I really enjoyed the interesting photographs from around the bay, climbing on rocks and sunbathing by the sea. The photograph below shows a couple of the fishing boats inside the harbour walls.
