Swan and Mallard Duck on the Water

I don’t remember ever seeing a swan at Salford Quays before, but here I got down and managed to include a swan and a mallard duck in the same frame. This would probably work best as a portrait aspect ratio photograph, but this is the internet and everything is landscape to match the orientation of your computer screens. Out of the camera I knew that the composition was just the way I wanted it with the full reflection of the swan, but I was thinking that a black and white conversion was on the cards as the original was so void of all colour, but enhancing the vibrance of the blues led me to the above photo which I really like.
