Sunset through trees and mirror

Looking into the sun was something I was told never to do and when I started looking at things through my camera it was even more important  never to shoot into the sun. Well I first got a digital camera when I was a rebellious teenager, so what was one of the first things I did with it? Well I broke the rules of course. Digital seems to react in an interesting way to me; the sun gives lens flare and confuses the camera’s brain. The above photograph was taken on a short walk at dusk in the Yorkshire Dales. I liked the juxtaposition between the sun behind the tree and how it was lighting up the cottages behind me, which can be seen (if you look really closely) in the big round mirror to the top left of the frame.
