Alnmouth harbour is in my opinion one of the most interesting parts of the Northumberland coast to go exploring with a camera, especially in the evening light. You can see three boats at various distances in the photograph above, on my close inspection none of which would last very long in the sea due to the amount of holes in them!
I was very lucky in capturing this “sunset” – a large part of which is over exposed, but I like the mist you can in the distance. Also the orange and purple colours in the clouds really make want to look at this photograph again and again. The village in the far background of this image is Alnmouth itself.
